Why every girl in their 20s should visit a vineyard at least once
Every time my friends and I start planning a trip, we end up with the same thing: a huge list of places we have to see and things we have to do. But this year, I had one request: Can we please go to a vineyard? And before anyone says, “I don’t even know anything about wine,” that’s the point. A vineyard is so much more than wine tasting. It’s good food, amazing views, and a chance to actually slow down and spend time together instead of running from one attraction to the next.
Picture this: we’re sitting outside with vineyards stretching out in front of us, the weather is perfect, there’s a little breeze, and we’re all just hanging out with a glass of wine, talking and laughing about random things.
No rushing to make the next reservation. No standing in giant tourist lines. No spending twenty minutes trying to figure out what we’re doing next.
Just good company and a few hours to enjoy it.
It’s not just about the wine
I feel like a lot of people think vineyards are only fun if you’re really into wine, but that’s not true at all.
Most vineyards have great food, outdoor seating, beautiful grounds, and even music or walking tours. Even if wine isn’t your thing, it’s still a really nice place to spend an afternoon. Honestly, one of the best parts is that it forces you to slow down.
Vacations can get weirdly exhausting. We spend so much time trying to fit everything in that we barely have time to enjoy where we are.
A vineyard is different. You sit down, relax, catch up with your friends, and actually enjoy the moment. And somehow those simple, slower moments usually end up being the ones you remember most.
Also… the Photos Would Be Amazing
I’m not saying this should convince everyone, but it definitely helps.
The vineyards, the countryside views, the wine glasses, the sunsets, it all looks unreal. And unlike some tourist spots that feel crowded and chaotic, everything feels effortless.
No trying to crop hundreds of strangers out of the background. Just good vibes, good views, and photos that actually make everyone jealous when you post them later.
